Book a Stay at the Camatta Ranch!

The Space

Staying in our ranch guest houses is a very unique experience, unlike any regular hotel. You get to involve yourself with as much or as little of our ranch lifestyle as you'd like. We include linens and paper goods. Guests need to bring their own food, cooking oil, spices, etc. The kitchen is stocked with basic utensils, pots, pans, and dishes. During the weekend, we have a 2-night minimum stay requirement.

Guest Access

There is a playground for the kids (children need to be supervised by parent while on playground and ranch). For the hiking enthusiast, we have trails and ranch roads.

Another activity on the ranch is our 2-hour Safari Truck tour. Guests will experience the private collection of exotic animals. Learn interesting facts about the 300-hoof stock we have here. Then drive out on the ranch for a small hike to view aquatic fossil hills. After enjoying a 4X4 experience, to the middle of the ranch. Learn the history of the Camatta Ranch and what our family is doing to preserve this gem for the future. These tours are only available with advanced reservations for a minimum of 2 and maximum of 6 people. Cost $40/person. Larger group tours up to 12 with advanced notice. Payments must be accompanied by reservations. (805)238-7324 or email us at lazyarrow@hotmail.com

If you are looking to horseback ride, we recommend Central Coast Trailrides (805) 610-1306. For booking, please make reservations in advance.

Other Things to Note

We are 35 minutes from the nearest town, so please plan accordingly. You should plan to gas up in town and get groceries before you come out to the ranch. We have a ranch garden that you are welcome to pick our produce during your stay. If you would like to take organic produce with you, when you leave, you can pick a basket full for additional to take home. The garden is seasonal in the summer and fall months. We also sell our ranch raised meat for purchase in our ranch office.

“Our stay at Buffalo Bungalow was one of the best things to happen to us in a long time! What an idyllic, tranquil escape…perfect inspiration to relax and unplug. The cowboy-built bungalow is rustic, yet cozy and covers all of your basics. If it’s something you can’t do without, just ask or simply bring it with you.
