Get Your Winter Garden Started – Do you want a garden all year round? Learn how to plant a winter Garden and grow produce all winter long. Whether you have acres to plant or and few garden beds or pots on a patio, you can be the vegetable and herb provider for your family. Join Felicia Morrison in our acre heirloom garden as we get our winter garden started. Some of the topics we will discuss.
1. Best soil for your herbs and vegetables to include nutrients, importance of testing soil how to
add nutrients organically with what you already have.
2. Grow what you eat; choosing the right seeds, starting seeds vs direct seeding, planting starts.

3. Irrigation- What type is best for the plants you are growing? Not all plants are the same; their
water needs are different.
4. You will get to take home some of our heirloom seeds to try, along with herbs plants for your
herb garden.
Water will be provided. Please bring garden gloves and your lunch.
Date: Saturday September 14th, 2024 from 9-12 limited to 12 gardeners (this is a great workshop for
beginning gardeners and more seasoned gardeners alike). $40.00/person
