The Peacock Perch can sleep 4-5 people. There is 1 queen size bed, 2 twin bunk beds and a full-size fold out couch. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a living room area with bay window and a large deck. Each house has its own campfire ring and BBQ pit. Parking is on site.
We had a great visit at the ranch. There are a ton of animals around - cats, peacocks, bison (!), horses, deer, goats, sheep -- and my daughter enjoyed the small playground (swings, a slide, and a roundabout) on site and the opportunity to get eggs from the chicken coops in the morning. It's far enough from Paso Robles and Santa Margarita to feel "away from it all" but close enough that you can go to town for dinner or a daytrip. - KyleOur stay at the Camatta Ranch was very unique. Felicia and Mike are awesome hosts. It was a great opportunity for our family to experience the real ranch life away from big cities. The location is beautiful, the ranch is huge and well maintained, we felt very safe. It has a large variety of animals, lots of beautiful peacocks roaming around, friendliest cats and the dog followed us everywhere helping to explore the ranch. We got to pick and taste fresh eggs, Felicia gave us a little tour around the ranch and told us its story. There is also a huge collection of vintage farm technology and also some really cool old cars. Very interesting stuff all around there.
This is not a luxury resort but the real animal farm, where people live and work, and allow others to get a taste of it. The cabin we stayed at was very basic but clean and provided all we needed for our stay. Highly recommend for families with kids, who love nature and animals. - Yuriy
